If you are a homeschool family with a high school student interested in photography, looking to learn more about photography, or improve their photography skills, here’s a great opportunity to learn from a professional.  Professional Photographer, J. Scott Kelly, of Island Images Professional Photography Studio, Inc., will be conducting a six week photography course that includes four classroom instruction meetings and two field practice shoots.  This course is recommended for students in ninth grade and above and is also great for parents who would like to learn themselves.   During the six weeks, students will go from “Getting to Know Your Camera,” covering the “Fundamentals of Photography” and the manual operation of the camera, to getting their images from the camera to the computer learning the proper “Workflow” methods, and critiquing and printing of their final images.

This six-week course will be held on Wednesday afternoons at The Barefoot Café/Private Meeting Room located in the Pueblo Arcade Breezeway of the Historic Theatre Building at 2036 14th Avenue in Downtown Vero Beach, beginning October 13th.

The deadline for registration is October 6th.
Space is limited, so call Scott or Karen at (772) 643-6994 today for more information.
